In pursuit of nursing's preferred future

From the CEO - Forget the psychic!
Not so long ago, when my daughter was in high school, she and a girlfriend decided to go see a psychic. Their goal was to get a glimpse of their future, particularly since they were graduating and heading off to college.

President's message - Daniel J. Pesut writes his last column for Reflections on Nursing Leadership: "I am proud of all we have achieved this biennium and excited by the future. I admire and appreciate all of you for your support, encouragement and loyalty to the honor society."

To the editor - "Thank you for the excellent article on Florence Wald in the Third Qtr. issue. ... I have read everything written by her or about her, and your article is the best I have read."

Book reviews - Reviews of two new books: The HeART of Nursing: Expressions of Creative Art in Nursing, second edition, edited by M. Cecilia Wendler; and Reflecting on 30 Years of Nursing Leadership: 1975-2005, by Sr. Rosemary Donley.
